MMA-CQI Offering a Wide Variety of Healthcare Peer Reviews
As the world reflects on 2024, MMA-CQI is gearing up for a stellar year ahead with 2025 peer reviews!
We’re excited to announce the addition of physical therapy to our comprehensive lineup of peer review services. In addition to physical therapists, we collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals including dentists, psychologists, PAs, NPs, CRNAs, nurse midwives, social workers, and of course, a wide array of specialists in every field of medicine.
For over 35 years, the Maine Medical Association (MMA) has provided external peer review coordination, supporting high-quality patient care throughout Maine. In 2024, the Center for Quality Improvement (CQI) proudly inherited this vital program, and we’ve been working diligently to enhance and expand it. Our goal is to ensure that hospitals, practices, and other healthcare facilities receive the confidential, protected support they need to focus on what matters most: quality patient care and safety.
This program is managed by the MMA’s Committee on Physician Quality, a team renowned for their exceptional expertise and professional oversight. Wishing you all a prosperous New Year!
