The Maine Chapter of
the American Academy of Pediatrics (Maine AAP) is a 501-3C non-profit organization. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and adolescents in Maine. We promote the health of Maine’s youth by advocating for children’s physical, emotional, and social well-being; and we support pediatricians so they can provide the best of care for children in their offices and in their communities. We envision a meaningful and healthy life for every child in Maine. Our goal is to lead and engage our members and the community in education, advocacy, collaboration, legislation, and leadership activities that promote healthy children and families.
