Overview
The Shoulder and Elbow Society of India (SESI) runs a series of academic and clinical programmes aimed at improving the standards of upper limb care across the country. Our initiatives focus on education, research, and outreach, bringing together orthopedic professionals from teaching institutions, private practice, and hospitals nationwide.

Ongoing Activities :
Free Screening & Consultation Camps : Organized in collaboration with district hospitals and NGOs for early detection of rotator cuff and arthritis problems.
Patient Awareness Campaigns : Educational materials and webinars designed to improve public understanding of shoulder and elbow disorders.
Postoperative Rehabilitation Education : Guides for physiotherapists and patients on safe recovery and exercises.

Fellowship & Mentorship Programmes
SESI facilitates short-term and long-term fellowships in leading centers of excellence.
Available Fellowships :
- Clinical Fellowship (India): 6-12 weeks of advanced surgical training.
- International Observerships: Partner institutions abroad for exposure to advanced arthroscopy and arthroplasty.
- Mentorship Program: Pairing young surgeons with experienced faculty for academic and clinical guidance.
